Plas Restaurant North Wales
THE RESTAURANT
The Restaurant can best be described as 'Elegantly Informal'. Our aim being that our guests can enjoy a fabulous meal in relaxed surroundings. The focal points of the Restaurant are the two large open fireplaces. On the walls are four original gas lamps which during the days of the Earl of Winchelsea were lit by organically produced methane gas.
From the window tables in the Restaurant the most stunning sunsets can be clearly viewed, though even if you are not sat in the window there is the most amazing 'orangey glow' throughout the Restaurant when the sun is setting. The windows also have some old etchings dating back to the 1800's.
Service in the Restaurant is attentive but unobtrusive and the dedicated staff will ensure that your every request is met.
To accompany your meal we have a relatively small (60 bins) wine list, but it does contain an intersting and varied selection of French, Spanish, German, Italian and New World Wines. If for special occasions you require a specific wine, our Wine Merchants, Tanner's of Welshpool, will almost certainly be able to provide it given advance notification.
The conservatory provides an ideal relaxing venue for after dinner coffee. Just sit and relax and watch the end of the sun setting over the Llyn Peninsular. We have a good selection of Liqueurs and fine Malts to accompany your coffee.
